I want to preface this by saying that I take very seriously speaking from the perspective of God. That being said, it’s the best perspective to speak of His eternal, divine nature. So please forgive any liberties that are out of line.

You’ll see Us in paradise
in just a little while.
From everlasting to everlasting I Am God.
To conceive the import of that Bethlehem night,
You must see your grasp of time is flawed.
Past and future are never out of My sight.
That night, that mark on human history,
Was something for which mankind has waited.
But for God in heaven it was no mystery.
Indeed, oh man, it is why you were created.
.
It has been long since God stepped into time.
The world has greatly changed for you since.
For at that point, there was no evil or crime.
It was before Satan became darkness’ prince.
But I walked with those new-formed people
In a paradise of My particular design.
They didn’t know that they were regal.
For men it was before their famous decline.
.
Long lay the world in sin and error pining.
For while you waited in abject corruption,
The light of My deliverance was shining.
Always, I save you from death’s destruction.
Disperse, oh gloomy clouds of night!
With you so unworthy, I walk again.
Peace! Good news from heaven’s height.
In your form and sorrow, I walked with men.
.
Do you see, fallen ones, what I have done?
In your debased and contemptible state,
I have begotten My only perfect Son.
Nevermore will My creatures wait.
Oh children, I hear your cries for a deliverer.
See that pair sheltered in the stable.
Look closely at the babe I’ve given her.
Look with eyes to see if you are able.
.
For unto you is born in the city of David,
One who bids your many sorrows cease,
The outstretched arm for which you waited,
Wonderful Counselor, Prince of Peace.
Already crushed was the serpent’s head,
But you couldn’t see from your lonely exile,
Your ransom was paid by the blood I will shed
You’ll see us in paradise in just a little while.
